LO1- Advertising campaign- Nike- Just Do It.

Aims and Objects: This campaign showed nikes image as American icon associated with success with professional athletes and motivational slogans and emphasising fitness more people started to buy more nike products in hopes to improve their fitness and ultimately nikes goal was to make people more motivated to be fit and be more active. The objective of this is that more people feel inclined to buy Nike products as they think that if they buy Nike products that they will have more success in getting fit
Target audience: The target audience of this campaign is 16+ people who aren't happy with their aesthetics or how much they weigh. Nikes goal was to target people who want to be come more physically fit and healthy. Mainly people over the age of 16 would want to start getting fit if they aren't happy with their current image and because of this campaign Nike motivated a lot of people. We can tell this campaign is targeted towards Young adults because of how they post a lot of content of the campaign on their social media accounts. Nikes campaign isn't targeted at any one gender they want both genders to be involved.

Approach: Nikes approach to the just do it campaign is incredibly successful as they have been doing this campaign since 1987 and this is because they got celebrity athlete to get involved such as Michael Jordan this was incredibly smart as Michael Jordan is known as one of the greatest of all time in basketball history and the fact that they got MJ to get involved was great because everyone aspired to be like MJ so most people would Buy the shoes and clothes he bought. They did this strategy with all times of sport such as American Football, Track running, Ice hockey and Football. Nike also now use Social media as a way to get this campaign more known. Other examples of athlete they used in this campaign is Cristiano Ronaldo, Odell Beckham Jr. and Serena Williams. This approach boosted Nikes sales and popularity and because of this campaign Nike became a household name. In some of their adverts they showed an image of an athlete playing their desired sport with a quote from the athlete
